Buttonwillow Raceway Park is our home track and the center of everything motoBRP does. If you are going to learn one circuit well, this is a great one to pick.
Where it is
Buttonwillow Raceway Park is in California's Central Valley, roughly two hours north of the Los Angeles area, near the town of Buttonwillow. Our address is 24551 W Lerdo Hwy, Buttonwillow, CA 93206. Its location makes it a regular stop for Southern and Central California track-day organizations and race clubs.
A track built for learning
Buttonwillow is a flat, technical circuit with a mix of corner types: fast sweepers, tight technical sections, elevation changes, and a long enough straight to build speed. That variety is exactly what makes it a good teacher. You practice nearly every kind of corner in a single lap, so the skills you build here transfer anywhere.
Multiple configurations
One of Buttonwillow's strengths is that it can run in several different layouts and directions. Organizations choose a configuration to suit the event, which keeps the track fresh and gives you more to learn over time. When you sign up for an event, check which configuration and direction it is running so you know what to expect.
Why it is ideal for new riders
- Plenty of run-off in many sections, which is reassuring while you are learning.
- Corner variety that builds a complete skill set, not just one trick.
- A regular calendar of track days and race weekends to ride.
- It is our home base, so we know it intimately and can coach it corner by corner.
Make it your home track
The riders who improve fastest tend to ride one track repeatedly until they know it cold. We make that easy: coaching from people who know every line here, bikes on site to ride, and trackside storage so your machine lives where you ride it.
Ready to ride with a coach?
The fastest way to put this into practice is a coaching day with a pro-racer coach. Bikes are on site.
